Boarding

Yorton Farm is in an ideal location, central to surrounding stud farms.

The farm has 100 acres of grass paddocks of varying sizes including small nursery paddocks for new born foals & large paddocks for the older mares & foals.

All paddocks are well fenced with high hedges and contain large oak trees providing excellent natural shade for the Summer months.

A special barn provides accommodation for maidens & barren mares to ensure that they are warm during the Winter & cycle early during the season.

Routine worming, blacksmithing & teeth rasping are provided when necessary.

A balanced diet is provided with specialist advice from our nutritionalist including good quality grass, freshly rolled oats with oat balancer & homemade haylage.

Mares are serviced at the optimum time whether by our own stallions or stallions from neighbouring stud farms.

Transport is arranged to stud farms & all certificates are provided
